Description: Nowadays, even in non-still currents, it is important to have a fly that moves the water surface. How do you balance the part that catches the water surface with the part that penetrates below the surface? Can different hook sizes hook and hold the same size trout? The 212Y was created to answer both of these questions. The shank is neither too thin nor too thick, and by slightly shifting the location where the flie’s wings are attached, any kind of effect can be created just below the water surface. This is the ultimate curved shank dry fly hook.
