Description: By inserting a tungsten bead or red wire onto the 40 degree tilted shank of this hook, it is easy to achieve a keel posture. Also, by “modifying” the shank length and gap width according to the hook size, it is possible to achieve the balance that best matches the fly patterns most frequently used to catch large trout. The point, which faces slightly inwards, prevents snagging and the loss of hooking power. This hook is great for streamers but it can also be used for large nymphs and dry flies.
