Description: This hook is for catching monsters. It is the most durable and versatile single hook out there and is can be used for most saltwater flies. It can also be used as a rear hook for tandem hook styles. The 800S for saltwater is made of stainless steel, but TMC does not chemically polish the tips of stainless steel hooks. This is due to concerns about polluting substances that may be released during the manufacturing process.
